The Adobe home was a typical structure of the Hopi, Pueblo and Zuni tribes inhabiting the American Southwest to include New Mexico, Arizona and Texas. These dwellings are still an ideal structure for dry desert climates and some of these original buildings which are still alive and well today, date back hundreds of years, thus allowing a glimpse into their rich history and cultural roots.
This roof is 40 squares (4,000 square feet). We tore off the existing shingles and underlayment. We installed new drip edge, synthetic underlayment, starter shingles, 18” wide galvanized metal in valleys and new Owens Corning Duration series shingles.
This roof is 40 squares (4,000 square feet). We tore off the existing tile, furring strips and underlayment. We installed a new Titanium UDL-30 underlayment, new 1X2 furring strips and new Eagle concrete tile. This homeowner chose the Malibu profile with the color “Slate Range."
This roof took our shingle roofing crew two days to complete. The project came out to about 30 squares or 3,000 square feet.
